A gearbox is not the whole mechanism.
The gearbox operates the locking system when you move the handle. The full mechanism includes the strip and its locking points. Some faults may need gearbox work; others need a different repair or the full assembly.
The correct replacement depends on the fitted system and its condition. Send a photo if the door edge is safely visible, or call with a description of what the key and handle are doing.
I’ll assess the fault before recommending replacement. A gearbox-only price is quoted separately; specialist full mechanisms need identification before a price can be confirmed.
